Tips for Parents

 

*Talk to your child about everyday activities. 

*Ask open-ended questions (What, When, Who, Where).

*Listen to your child.

*Sing songs and recite nursery rhymes with your child.

*Read to your child.

*Expose your child to many new experiences.

*Carrying on conversations with your child when the two of you have some quiet time together.

*Introduce new vocabulary to your child.  Name and label objects.

*Play games with your child.
